Political scientists have long wondered how much endorsements actually matter. Do people really change their vote based on who their local newspaper recommends, or who another politician says is the right person for the job? ThereÂ’s no way to quantify exactly how much of an impact any one individual thumbs up has, but common sense would say the more endorsements the better, at least in most cases.
